VSR Financial Services Inc. is a broker-dealer based in Overland Park, Kansas.
In April 2011, a group of more than 200 Nebraska investors was awarded $30 million in a federal lawsuit involving VSR Financial Services fraud. Two brokers working as brokers for several firms, including VSR Financial Services, were accused of improperly selling risky investments to retirees.
In May, after that amount was awarded by a federal judge, VSR Financial Services agreed to a $10.3 million judgment to settle claims it failed to properly supervise two brokers who were selling the risky investments.
